A Trip to Bolivia

Over the summer, my family went to Bolivia. That place is AMAZING! We went on an Amazon jungle trip. I saw pink dolphins when we went on the canoe ride. They look so cute! Some guy in our boat wanted to swim with them so bad, that the person rowing actually stopped and let him! We watched him for a bit, then he climbed back on and we headed to shore. My family hung out at the beach most of the trip. The water there is so clear, blue-green, and sparkles when the sun shines on it.

My family also went to the carnival in Bolivia. We rode a lot of rides and ate a lot of food. We also, went to see the Mountain of Death Road. Three annoying daredevil teenagers ran away up the mountain when no one but me was looking. They found barrels that other people left up there (probably because they chickened out at the last minute or decided to live longer). They jumped into the three barrels, and rolled down the 600m drop! Everyone could see and hear them screaming and holding on for dear life. The tallest guy came down first and then the shortest guy came 5 seconds after. They were SUPER dizzy. We all turned to watch the third person come down, but we never saw him again. So, we started walking back, when we saw someone coming up to us. it was the third guy! he was also, very dizzy and all three kids got in big trouble.

Bolivia has some great foods too! We ate Chairo, which is beef soup, chunos, and vegetables. We also had, Pique a lo macho. That is basically chopped beef over fries and sauté and diced onions with fresh tomatoes. Both dishes taste SO good! I love Bolivia so much.

Last summer break my family and I plus two friends each for me and my brother we went to Peru. We got to see so many things and go to do some fun stuff there that they had. It was so much fun. We actually had a blast there that we want to go again. One of the places that we visit was Cusco. It was so pretty I couldn't believe it. My eyes were amazed.  I don't think I've ever seen something so beautiful in my life before. they had so much things to do there that it was unfair.
We also went to Costa Verde. It was so beautiful. We got to do so many things like surf and paddle board we were only there for 2 days so we didn't really get to do too may things but it was so much fun with what we did. We got to eat there and their food was amazing. I especially love Mexican food.

My Trip To Venezuela

By: Alexis K.

The first place I visited in Venezuela was Angel Falls. it was beautiful, the sound of the water crashing on the walls. The day I was there it was so beautiful because there was a rainbow over the waterfall.
Just think about it. Falling asleep to the sound of waves crashing on rocks it was very peaceful because it wasn't to
loud and it wasn't to soft.

My trip to Bolivia was amazing. There were so many places to visit that it was hard to choose. I saw shocking and beautiful things. Here are three of the places that I visited.

One of the places I visited was La Paz. It was very crowded. One of the first dishes I ate was locro. Locro is a stew that is mostly made of corn, meat, and vegetables. What I didn't eat was the Guinea Pig. It sounded too gross. One of the places I visited was Illimani. It was so beautiful. The mountains were tipped with white. It reminded me of post cards.

Another place I visited was the Pampas. It was amazing. There  were many piranhas and alligators so we had to be careful and not go in the water. There were so many bugs. They were everywhere. I basically showered myself in bug spray. I couldn't believe all the different types of birds there. There are too many animals for me to name them all. There were snakes, monkeys, deer, cats, wolves, foxes, skunks, etcetera. I nearly had a heart attack when our tour guide touched an alligator and held a ten foot long snake. If you're a vegetarian I wouldn't suggest eating at the Pampas. Most of their food is meat. I liked some of it though. I didn't eat the piranhas though. They didn't cut them up or anything. They still had the eyes on them too.

The last place I visited was Salar de Uyuni. It was my favorite place,

This week I visited the beautiful country of Venezuela. The first place I visited was Angel Falls. It was beautiful, and I got to swim with a couple of friends of mine in the small lake below the waterfall. It was really fun and I had an amazing time. After we were done at the waterfall, we went to get food at a restaurant that had the most exquisite food. The rest of the day we just wandered around the city.

Trip to Argentina:

When I arrived in Argentina, the first place I went was to the Casa Rosada. This building is the government office of Argentina. Casa Rosada means "pink house." Its verrryyy large and they call it the executive mansion. I even got to meet the president which was cool.

The next place I went when I was in Argentina was the Iguazu Falls. There are more than 270 falls in the area. You can visit the falls by trails or footbridges. the falls went about 2,700 m in diameter and some reached 80 m high. The falls are very pretty and I enjoyed seeing them.
